Launched during the pandemic in 2020, AstroAgency’s SpaceBar started as an interactive virtual networking and knowledge-sharing forum and YouTube live show for the global space industry. It quickly became a go-to platform for professionals, enthusiasts, and new entrants to connect, collaborate, and share insights.
SpaceBar’s reach has extended to over 40 countries and has welcomed leading experts and emerging startups through its Start-Up Spotlight segment. The SpaceBar audience has also been invited to join the show’s “After Party”, an informal networking session that encourages collaboration among space professionals and enthusiasts.
SpaceBar has continued its spirit and legacy through the successful “SpaceBar Live!” show at in-person events in cities like Bristol, Edinburgh, and Glasgow with more on the way! It continues to be a dynamic hub for growing connections and knowledge within the space sector!
Speaker Information

Dr Marco Rocchetto, CEO and co-Founder of Telescope Live and Spaceflux, brings a wealth of experience with 15 years in data analytics, management, and entrepreneurship, combined with a strong foundation in astrophysics, holding a PhD from University College London. His early contributions include work on the ESA ARIEL Space Mission and the co-discovery of the first super-earth with an atmosphere. Transitioning to technology, Marco led R&D in robotics and cloud-edge technologies at Konica Minolta for 4 years before founding Telescope Live, a leading platform for astrophotographers, in 2019. In 2022, he co-founded Spaceflux, enhancing Space Situational Awareness (SSA) with a global network of optical sensors and advanced AI-driven analysis, aimed at preventing collisions and improving space safety.

Mike Curtis Rouse is a leading figure in shaping Europe's In-orbit Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing (ISAM) capabilities, with deep expertise in robotics, space technology, and material science. As Head of ISAM at the Satellite Applications Catapult, he leads a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technologists, and analysts whose combined experience spans spacecraft, launch operations, automotive and high value manufacturing. With a clear ambition to position the UK at the forefront of the emerging commercial space economy, Mike drives advancements in in orbit servicing, robotics, manufacturing, and propulsion technologies. Under his leadership, the team operates Europe’s largest rendezvous proximity operations and docking simulator, alongside state-of-the-art facilities for rocket engine design and manufacturing, located at Westcott Venture Park a site renowned for its heritage in propulsion development and testing. Mike has founded several companies focusing on drone technologies, propulsion and additive manufacturing including a successful exit to ANSYS in 2017 for process simulation.
Mike's prior career includes prior roles at Second Star, Reaction Engines, the European Space Agency, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, the Mitre Corporation, CERN, NATO and the British Army reflecting his extensive contributions to cutting edge technological innovation and strategic leadership.

Dallas is one of the most popular factual presenters working in the industry. His programmes explore the rich culture of science, engineering and technology. He has taken audiences to some of the most hair-raising locations around the globe, from the bottom of Mexican sewers to rocket launches to the International Space Station, giving audiences a back-stage tour of our human planet’s hidden workings.
